    I love these makes bleeding so easy, i do use on both calipers and on my master cylinder ( track/ race bike). I just cycle my bleeding from left caliper first then right and then master cylinder. , sometimes ill do it twice but that's because of my OCD 😂. Great video mate.

    Hey, is it possible to install this rack in the standard 1100 but without removing the original rack that comes with the bike? As it is displayed in the pictures of the link. Not sure if that one is the Adventure Sports or the Standar. Thanks!!

      Honda has gone back and forth on whether or not the standard model comes with the Honda rack. If you have the Honda rack, choose the Adventure Sports luggage rack. That's made to attach directly to the Honda rack. Note, our current racks don't yet fit the 2024 models.

    Unless this lowers the bike a good 5” it’s not great. I’m 6-3 and this bike is ridiculously high even for me. I went to look at one yesterday cause I really wanted it but I couldn’t believe how high it was, I mean, it’s really bad. Honda really limited their audience with this bike. Sure I could ride it, but not flat footed. I love the comfort of cruisers but I grew up on dirt bikes so I now want a multi purpose. I was ready to buy but I sadly had to walk away

    • @AltRiderLLC
      @AltRiderLLC 13 дней назад

      We totally hear you, it can certainly be a challenge to learn to deal with height that most adventure bikes have. Getting on an adventure bike is a whole different game compared to other bikes. Of course, Honda and other manufacturers set the bike up high for a reason - primarily to improve it’s off-road capabilities. Adventure bikes have their compromises - they’re not the best at on road use and they’re not the best at off road use, but they’re pretty good at both! The design of the suspension means that you can physically move the seat any lower an inch. One inch doesn’t sound like much, but it can go a long ways in building confidence, or making it just a bit easier to dab your feet on the ground.

      This part is no longer offered, it has been replaced with our Variable Height Suspension Links that offer 3 different height settings: ruclips.net/video/6dd60iQJzP4/видео.htmlsi=qkKXqk0LreqmTsq5 It can lower the seat height 2 different settings or raise it. The maximum it will lower your suspension is 30mm (1.1 in). To simulate this you can find a block that is roughly 1.1 in tall and then stand on that while on the bike. That should give you an excellent idea of how much of your foot you can get on the ground. It's really hard to speculate how much it would be for you since there are so many variables including how long your legs are and how you sit on the bike. You can be sure it would make a noticeable difference though!

    You lower the rear 32mm and what happens to the front?

    • @AltRiderLLC
      @AltRiderLLC 2 месяца назад

      You can a suspension tuner alter ride heights for you (reversible), you can pull the fork tubes through the triple tree a reasonable but complimentary amount to bring the rake angle into position, you may find the front handles similarly and no further adjustments need to be made.

    • @c.g.c2067
      @c.g.c2067 2 месяца назад

      @@AltRiderLLC hi, thanks. Can you pull them out 32mm as the rear?

    • @AltRiderLLC
      @AltRiderLLC 2 месяца назад

      @c.g.c2067 we'd recommend starting with a 10mm drop, noting how the bike feels on asphalt, if it turns too slow at only a 10mm drop, adjust it to a 15mm drop after that because 2mm will make a big difference based on front end ride height and travel for an experienced rider, for an average rider, making the dog bones longer, gives the rear shock more leverage, so even though the bike is lower, the rear shock will have a slight mechanical advantage, so the drop on the front then doesn't have to be as much because the rear is now more "compliant" so for "feeling" we recommend a little testing and figuring out what you want and need from your suspension and riding style. Raising the front, or lowering the rear will adjust the front forks steering head angle. And why a small adjustment at the front may make up for the small amount of squat at the rear.

Ironic how just days after looking at your equipment and scoffing at the price have I had my first real ejection from a motorcycle. The stock crash bars bent, skid plate didn't save the case and my bars are bent. Question. Oem set up on ktm 500 2023 means I can't move my clutch over to the left for better fit because it gets caught on the handle. The adjustment hits the light switch and it's so annoying. This seems it would be even worse as it's much bigger than the oem.

    • @AltRiderLLC
      @AltRiderLLC 3 месяца назад

      Hello, you are probably right. we find it more desirable to adjust the lever toward center. this puts your fingers at the end of the lever giving you the most leverage. the problem with doing that with OEM was lack of adjustment range to move the lever closer to your bar. The MAC lever allows full adjustment to bring that lever closer to grip. but ergonomics is a very personal approach, but wanted to share a different perspective. let me know if you have any other questions

    They can't just equip the bike with an on/off switch on the handlebar for traction control and ABS. Not just no, but hell no.

      @@AltRiderLLC 😆. You're the man who makes the Alt rider products? Nice to meet you! I have one of your skid plates on my Triumph. Finally somebody made a proper protective bash plate! The "factory" and other aftermarket plates are inadequate. I really like the Alt Rider plate, it's exactly what I was looking for.

    I wish the kit had a quick-release for the quill clamp to eliminate having to completely disassemble the fender mount hardware to access the steering tube with the pin of a head lift pit stand.

      That is a great point. Though we’re unaware of any high fender rally bike that’s able to use a front pit stand. Let us know if you’re aware of one as there may be some great ideas how to do a quick release fender that can sustain the off-road riding
